More people are single now than in the entire history of the world. But based on the popularity of online dating, very few people are thrilled with their “single” relationship status. With singleness bringing everything from loneliness to felling unworthy to overwhelming uncertainty, how are Christians supposed to navigate through singleness?

Using real life stories and biblical insight, Hannah will share how she learned that “happily ever after” doesn’t begin with marriage. She will share practical lessons from her singleness to help singles discover what the Bible really says about singleness and the happiness that can be theirs right now. This talk is not only for singleness, but also for anyone who is trying to find contentment in their current circumstances, because let’s face it, if you can be happy being single, you can be happy anywhere.

SPEAKER: Hannah Schermerhorn attended MSOE and graduated in 2015 with degrees in Electrical Engineering and Technical Communication. In her time since graduation, she has worked as a Patent Engineer, a Product Marketing Engineer and is currently a Global Commercial Programs Manager for Rockwell Automation. In her free time, Hannah has written a book on singleness called “You Only Have a Single Life to Live”. She is currently working on getting that book published.
