Guest speaker: Linda Liesener

The work of the Central Africa Medical Mission is just as vital to the people of Zambia and Malawi in 2019 as it was when the Mwembezhi dispensary opened in 1961. Although many things have changed over the years, the purpose of CAMM remains the same. Linda Liesener, current Development Coordinator and former Chairwoman of the stateside committee, will provide an update on the activities of the clinics in both countries. Linda has served with CAMM on the committee for over 10 years. Her presentation will be mostly photos so you can witness the impact of CAMM and share in a cultural experience. Linda will speak about the challenges facing CAMM when delivering healthcare to a culture much different than ours.
